By far has the best tuna steak I've ever eaten before all the cooking is definitely made with a lot of appreciation and love

We love this place—have been here twice in the short time we’ve lived in the area and everything is delicious. The staff is friendly the service is quick, the prices are affordable and the food is delicious. First time having fish tacos and they were awesome! Fried shrimp is perfect and the seafood Mac and cheese is indulgent.

We enjoyed our first starfish grill experience! We got the seafood macaroni (3 cheeses and 3 varieties of fish), very fresh garden salad (with delicious homemade ranch), and the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. We also appreciated the clean environment and fun oceanic designs. Eric is very kind and clearly knows how to manage a top kitchen! We’re hoping to be back soon.

We picked this place while on vacation. When we pulled up I was unsure and even considered looking elsewhere, I am so glad we didn’t! The service was fantastic (so rare these days) and food was great! I loved the bacon wrapped scallops and mini crab bites.

I live close by to here but I’d never come by. Today was the day and I’m so glad it is! We got a friendly greeting as soon as we came in. We started with the tuna nachos which had the slightest kick to them which was awesome. My friend ordered the Jamaican jerk tuna tacos which were on special today. Queso crumble cheese, sauce, slaw and mango salsa!! Amazing!! He got hush puppies as his side which are homemade and literally some of the best we’ve ever had. I had the blackened chicken Alfredo (they make their sauce to order) which I added mushrooms and broccoli to. It’s almost as good as mine that I make at home lol For dessert we shared their Atlantic Beach pie which is super creamy and tasty with a graham cracker crust! Renee was our awesome server! She was friendly and had the best suggestions. I can’t wait to come back!

We love Starfish Grill! And we have to thank our friends for telling us about it so many months ago... It’s the kind of place that you order your usual- mine is the grilled salmon with green beans and mashed potatoes. It is always tasty and cooked perfectly. My boyfriend orders a different dish each time, though, ranging from wings and a salad to hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. I think that I ordered the broccoli a long time ago and didn’t like it, but the green are delicious, so I don’t mind about the broccoli. What we like about this place: it’s a small, family atmosphere with friendly wait staff that go out of their way to make you feel at home. Tonight, it was busier than usual, so our wait time at the door was 3 minutes rather than immediately sitting down. Our waitress grabbed an extra table for us to accommodate us. The only complaints that I have are that they took the spinach artichoke dip off the menu and if you sit in front of the AC, it can be cold. Tonight we split a brownie a la mode 4 ways, and it was plenty and actually fun to share. I like the decor, and every time we’re there, I think about ordering some custom signs with coordinates on them for family members far away. They have great nautical decor with a great story behind their name- it’s painted on the wall.

I wasn't expecting much when I pulled into a strip center and saw the restaurant. We walked in and it looked pretty much like any other grill in a strip center. My wife and I wanted seafood,so we ordered a 2 combo basket and a 3 basket dinner. Based on the price we weren't expecting very much. What a shock we had when the meal arrived to our table. Wow!, huge portions, lightly breaded and cooked to perfection. I got the three combo basket with flounder, shrimp and scallops for 19. The people beside us raved about the blackened chicken special and the hamburger steak. It smelt so good. For a hole-in-the -wall restaurant it was way beyond our expectations. Way, way much better than the Sanitary (Tony's) in Morehead City.

The service was great! Welcomed with a smile and a very friendly personality! The food was really delicious! We ordered the teriyaki ahi tuna nachos, lemon pepper chicken wings, blackened fish tacos, blacked shrimp tacos and a blackened shrimp salad... EVERYTHING was perfectly cooked and seasoned! Overall, if I had to choose one dish as my favorite it would be the Ahi tuna nachos! We will definitely return for more delicious bites in the near future!
